Working with Blossom & Balance Consulting includes an initial meeting to get to know your business and get a better understanding of your financial recordkeeping needs. Together we build a right-sized plan for reaching your bookkeeping goals. Throughout our work together, we check in routinely to ensure we are being responsive to your business's needs. Our services are designed to be flexible and can be selectively accessed to support your growing business to thrive.
We are oriented to today's flexible, hybrid, and remote office landscape. We operate in a paper-free, secure, cloud-based model. We take the security of your financial information very seriously. We employ automation and virtual solutions whenever possible. We are available locally for onsite support as needed.
Our Philosophy
Blossom & Balance Consulting is a values-based business, centering curiosity, honesty, diligence, and community care, with the goal to bring connection, creativity, and joy to all our efforts. We delight our clients with careful, consistent, and timely financial recordkeeping, allowing them to stay focused on their business, while also having solid financial data for decision making.
Blossom & Balance Consulting is led by Karie Herrlinger. Karie has spent decades managing complex financial and accounting systems in service to good work. She enjoys digging in and creating order, and is known for her care in empowering others through sharing knowledge and imparting skills. Karie believes that good financial information is a tool, one that anyone should be able to use.
In her free time, Karie turns her attention to detail, her discipline, and her creativity to sewing, building, and crafting. Karie can also be found outside enjoying the splendor of the forests and beaches in the Pacific Northwest.
